GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — One Gloucester Township race remains close Wednesday, while a council incumbent and the referendum's "no" vote hold commanding leads.

All of the township's voting districts have reported complete vote tallies. But provisional ballots and mail-in ballots received after Tuesday morning may impact the totals in the coming days. Additionally, all results remain unofficial until certified by the Camden County clerk on a later date.

In the Gloucester Township School Board race, with three seats available, Board Member Kia Gore leads the seven-candidate field with 12,539 votes as of 2 p.m. Wednesday. Dana Hendry, a challenger, holds second with 11,457 votes.

Board Member Linda Gilch — the race's other incumbent — sits in fifth with 9,494 votes.

In the Township Council race, Democratic incumbent Helen Albright Troxell (17,129) leads Republican challenger Timothy J. Pfeffer (12,838) for an unexpired (partial) term.

Meanwhile, 81 percent of voters have rejected the council-backed sale of the township's wastewater services to New Jersey American Water.

Last summer, the Township Council voted to sell its wastewater system to New Jersey American Water for $143 million. But the transaction required the majority of voters to approve it through a referendum.

Gloucester Township also had an uncontested election for the Black Horse Pike Board of Education. Board Members Shana Mosley, Jennifer Storer and Jay McMullin secured re-election.

Here are the unofficial results of Gloucester Township's elections as of 2 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Camden County Clerk's Office:
