I-295 Reopens After Tractor Trailer Jackknifes, Shuts Down Highway In Camden Co.

The highway is closed at a busy exit that links to several other highways.

BELLMAWR, NJ — Interstate 295 has reopened after a tractor trailer jackknifed Tuesday morning in Camden County, officials told Patch.

A Volvo commercial vehicle was traveling south on I-295 in Bellmawr at 7:14 a.m. when the vehicle jackknifed, said State Police Tpr. Christopher Postorino.

No injuries were reported.

I-295 South was temporarily closed at Exit 26S, which links to Route 42, Interstate 76 and Interstate 676. The highway reopened around 9:15 a.m.

The crash remains under investigation.
