Jail For NJ Man Who Threw Victim Down 2 Sets Of Stairs: Prosecutor
The victim suffered a traumatic brain injury, lens dislocation and subluxation, retrobulbar hemorrhage, facial trauma and more.
NEW JERSEY - A Cumberland County man was sentenced Friday to five years in state prison for throwing a man down two flights of stairs in an apartment connected to the assailant’s residence, authorities said.
Calvin Clark, 63, of Bridgeton, was found guilty of Aggravated Assault on Aug. 6 by a jury following a trial that lasted three days, Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae said in a statement.
The assault, which took place on Oct. 8, 2021, saw Clark repeatedly beat and throw the victim down the stairs, Webb-McRae said.

The man suffered a traumatic brain injury, ear lobe laceration, lens dislocation and subluxation, retrobulbar hemorrhage, facial trauma, injury of thyroid gland, and an avulsion fracture of a tooth.
