Kelly Drivers Lane to Be Shut Down Three Days

A paving project is scheduled to begin Monday.

The stretch of Kelly Drivers Lane between Laurel Wood Court and Candlestick Road is expected to be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Wednesday next week, police announced on Wednesday.

A paving project is slated to begin at 7 a.m. Monday.

Kelly Drivers Lane traffic will be detoured one of two ways: 1) At the Candlestick Road detour point to Blackwood Clementon Road to Little Gloucester Road to Hider Lane and 2) At the Laurel Wood Court detour point to Hider Lane to Chews Landing Road to Laurel Road to Blackwood Clementon Road.

Police officers will be stationed at closure points.

Motorists should expect traffic delays in the area, police said. Police will be conducting traffic enforcement details in the area to discourage distracted or aggressive driving.
