Man Killed In Shooting Outside Gloucester Twp. Apartment: Police

Police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened outside a Gloucester Township apartment complex late Thursday night.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — A 28-year-old Clayton man was killed in a shooting outside a Gloucester Township apartment complex late Thursday night, authorities said Friday morning.

Police found David Brown suffering from a gunshot wound on the sidewalk outside an apartment building on the 1300 block of Blackwood-Clementon Road while responding to reports of gunshots at about 11:35 p.m., according to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Gloucester Township Police Chief David Harkins.

Brown was taken to Jefferson Hospital in Stratford, where he died as a result of his injuries at 12:34 a.m. Friday morning, authorities said.
