Search On For Man Who Disappeared A Week Ago Out Of Gloucester Twp.

Ian Colon, 22, is frequently in the Trenton and New York City areas. He often takes NJ Transit trains into New York, police said.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Efforts to find a man remain underway after he was reported missing to Gloucester Township police last week.

Ian Colon, 22, was reported missing on April 7. He left home between 7 a.m. and 4:40 p.m. that day, police said on Monday.

Colon has been diagnosed with autism but is high-functioning, police said. He is frequently in the Trenton and New York City areas — specifically at homeless shelters in New York City, according to law enforcement.

Colon also frequently takes NJ Transit trains into New York, police said.

Police did not say where Colon lives or his connection to Gloucester Township.

Authorities described Colon as a Black man with a thin build and a "medium brown skin tone." He is 5 feet, 10 inches and about 150 pounds, police said.

Colon has a tattoo on his left arm, officials said.

It's unknown what he was wearing when he left home, police said.
