Man Sentenced For Role In His Paramour's Death, Cumberland Co. Officials Say

Patrick Spann previously pleaded guilty to a charge of aggravated manslaughter in the death of Tracey Dubois, an official said.

BRIDGETON, NJ — A Bridgeton man was recently sentenced to 28 years in prison regarding the death of a woman he knew, according to the Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office.

Patrick Spann, 41, will have to serve 85 percent of that sentence before he is eligible parole, the prosecutor's office said. Once released, he will be on supervised parole for five years, the prosecutor's office also said.

Spann had pleaded guilty on July 8 to a first-degree charge of aggravated manslaughter in the death of his paramour Tracy Dubois, according to the prosecutor's office.
