Man Wanted For Killing Ex's Boyfriend In South Jersey Caught In Philly: Feds
Kenneth Tripline fatally stabbed his ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend earlier this month, authorities said.

PHILADELPHIA — A man wanted for fatally stabbing his ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend earlier this month in South Jersey was arrested by federal authorities Thursday in Philadelphia.
Kenneth Tripline, 36, of Philadelphia, had been on the run since March 11, when authorities say he kicked down the door of a Bridgeton man's home and stabbed him in the torso.
U.S. Marshals arrested Tripline around 9 a.m. Thursday in Philadelphia.

Earlier Thursday, authorities learned that Tripline was in a home near Temple University. Federal Marshals and Temple police officers surrounded the home on the 1500 block of West Diamond Street.
Tripline tried to escape from a back window, but police forced him back inside, officials said. The suspect eventually surrendered to authorities in front of the home and was arrested.

Bridgeton police identified Elliot Q. Handy, 28, as the stabbing victim. He was brought to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
One day later, Bridgeton police announced that Tripline was charged with murder and weapons offenses in the incident.
