Man Wanted For Child Sex Assaults In Camden Co.: Prosecutor

PINE HILL, NJ — A Pennsylvania man is wanted for sexually assaulting a child in Camden County who he met online, authorities said Tuesday.

Shane Hennesy was charged Feb. 20 with multiple counts of sexual assault, which authorities say he committed against a 12-year-old girl in Pine Hill between December and January.

Hennesy, 22, lives in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, officials said. He's also frequently in Ocean City, Maryland, and Newark, Delaware, according to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office.

Authorities described Hennesy as a white male with long, shaggy brown hair and brown eyes. He is about 6 feet, 1 inch tall and weighs about 200 pounds.

He may have lost weight recently, officials said. The prosecutor's office provided a government-issued photo of Hennesy and two photos in which he appears more slender.

Hennesy was charged with aggravated sexual assault (first-degree), sexual assault (second-degree) and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child (third-degree).

The U.S. Marshals Service's regional fugitive task force is offering up to $1,000 for information leading to Hennesy's arrest. Anyone with information on his location can contact Sr. Det.
