Gloucester Twp. Mayor, Councilwoman Invite Residents to Green Team Meeting

Gloucester Township Mayor David Mayer and Councilwoman Michelle Gentek invite residents to attend a Green Team meeting on Tuesday, May 29.

The Sustainable Gloucester Township meeting is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. in Council chambers at the municipal building.

The mayor and Gentek, who is a 2012 Democratic Party candidate for Camden County freeholder, are hoping to register new members for the Green Team, which, as the name suggests, strives to make the township a cleaner, greener place.

The Green Team earned the township a bronze-level certification in its first year as a Sustainable Jersey community in 2011.
