Summer's almost gone.

Before you know it, Labor Day weekend will be upon us and the kids' return to school just days away.

Between now and then, though, comes the dreaded back-to-school shopping.

So, GT Patch asks its expert-shopping readership: What do you do to keep costs down while still getting all the supplies, clothes and footwear your kids need (and want) for the coming school year? Any tips for the novice shoppers out there?
