Moms Talk: Chores

Raising a child can be a real chore.

It helps lighten the load, of course, when children are old enough to help out with the household chores.

Take out the trash.

Vacuum the living room.

Feed the dog.

Cut the grass.

We've all had those orders barked at us, and we'll surely be giving them some day, if not already.

So, Patch asks:

When is the appropriate age to have a child begin doing household chores? Beyond that, we want to you to let us know what you feel is the right age to have a child start taking out the trash, doing the dishes, cutting the grass and more.
