Moms Talk: Do We Go Too Far Pushing Gender?
A Canadian couple is raising their kid—and eyebrows—genderless.

A Canadian couple has caused quite the stir by going public with their decision to raise their third child genderless.
They named their baby the gender-neutral "Storm," dress the baby in gender-netural clothing and have withheld the child's sex from even the grandparents.
Their reasoning: Children are pressured to follow social norms on gender at far too early an age.

Gloucester Township Patch doesn't mention this story out of Ottawa to hear whether you, our readers, believe the couple is right or wrong (although, you can certainly feel free to make note of your opinion).
What we do want to ask is this: Does our society go overboard pushing our little boys to Tonka trucks and footballs and our little girls to Barbie and the Disney Princesses? Would we be better served to just let kids be kids, not boys or girls, for at least a few years?
