Moms Talk: Movie Ratings
Do you follow the Motion Picture Association of America's ratings?

A number of the biggest blockbusters to hit theaters this summer are rated PG-13.
You've got Green Lantern, X-Men: First Class and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.
These are the movies the 9-year-old soon-to-be-fourth-grader wants to see. Ditto the 10-year-old soon-to-be fifth-graders. Let's not kid ourselves, parents.

- Do you follow the Motion Picture Association of America's ratings when deciding whether your son or daughter can see a movie?
- If you don't follow the MPAA ratings, how do you decide whether a movie's content is age-appropriate?
- At what age do you allow your child to watch whatever movies he or she wants?
