Moms Talk: The Road Trip

The hour-long drive to Jersey Shore destinations is sometimes enough to drive a parent crazy.

While a short drive by adult standards, it's not so short for some kids.

Some kids don't quite conceptualize time as we do—and as we wish they would. The constant barrage of "Are we there yet?" calls from the backseat can be, well, annoying.

Stretch that hour drive to Ocean City or Sea Isle City into one to Washington D.C. or Myrtle Beach, SC, and, well ... Let's just say we can almost forgive parents for allowing the thought of kicking the kids out of the car on I-95 to enter their minds.
