Mullen Middle Students' Orangutan Wiki Page Up and Running

The Wiki page is one part of an overall effort of 13 Mullen Middle School students to raise awareness about the greatest threat facing the endangered orangutan.

A Wiki page Ann A. Mullen Middle School students have been working on since mid-January to draw attention to the plight of orangutans has been launched.

The Wiki page is part of an overall effort by 13 Mullen Middle students entered in the Philadelphia Zoo's regional UNLESS Contest. This year's UNLESS contestants have been charged with raising awareness about the destructive connection between palm oil and orangutans while promoting the use of products that include sustainable palm oil.

Designed and populated with information about the endangered orangutan by Mullen sixth-graders Rashi Agrawal, Ashley Freeman and Katie Power, the Wiki page can be viewed by clicking here.
