New Book on Pizza Highlights South Jersey Pizzerias
Author visited several pizzerias in Gloucester Township in researching his book.
For the last two years, Jason Love visited more than 200 pizzerias throughout New Jersey, New York City, and Philadelphia. His new book A Pizza Journey with Family and Friends highlights many of the pizzerias he visited during his journey. In New Jersey he traveled as far north to Kinchley's Tavern in Ramsey and as far south as Blue Moon Pizza in Cape May. Jason also visited four of the boroughs in New York City and traveled throughout Philadelphia to visit different pizzerias. He kept track of the pizzerias on his website Mangiamo Pizza!
In Gloucester Township he visited pizzerias such as Coppola Pizza and Villa Russo Pizzeria on Chews Landing Road and Santini's Pizza on Church Street in the Blackwood section of town. He also visited Giofano's Pizzeria on Blackwood-Clementon Road. One of his favorite pizzerias was Holy Tomato on the Black Horse Pike. South Jersey has several wonderful, mom-and-pop pizzerias. His book is available for purchase on Amazon.
Jason previously lived in Gloucester Township and now lives in Voorhees with his wife Christin. He currently works for Rutgers University in Camden.
