NJSIAA Releases South Jersey Football Championship Schedule

After today's battle for the West Jersey Football League National Division title against Black Horse Pike Regional School District rival Triton, Timber Creek football players will have about nine days to prepare for Hammonton in the South Jersey Group III championship.

NJSIAA released the South Jersey football championship schedule this week, and the Chargers and Blue Devils will compete in the final game on Saturday, Dec. 3, at Rowan University's Wackar Stadium. The game is scheduled to start at 4 p.m.

Timber Creek, which is ranked No. 2 in South Jersey by the Courier-Post, will be looking to win its first-ever South Jersey football championship. Hammonton is ranked No. 6 by the Courier-Post in its latest poll.

The full slate of games at Rowan:

• Friday, Dec. 2, 7 p.m.: Millville vs. Pennsauken for the Group IV championship
• Saturday, Dec. 3, 10 a.m.: Glassboro vs. Pennsville for the Group I championship
• Saturday, Dec. 3, 1 p.m.: vs. for the Group II championship
• Saturday, Dec. 3, 4 p.m.: Hammonton vs. for the Group III championship
