WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ - A fire in Gloucester Township tore through a residence Tuesday night, leaving the home “heavily” damaged, authorities said.
The blaze was reported shortly before 10 p.m. on Creek Road in the Twin Ponds development, Washington Township police said in a statement.
Mutual aid fire units from Glassboro and Mantua assisted fire officials in battling the fire, police added.

No injuries were reported. Crews were at the scene for roughly two hours before the fire was declared under control.
