Sadie Is Gloucester Township Patch's Dog Of The Week

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Meet Sadie, Patch's Dog of the Week. Nominate your dog for Gloucester Township Patch's Dog of the Week! Sadie is a 7 1/2 year old Golden Retriever. In the image attached to this post, she is just returning from getting groomed at Pet Styles in Pine Hill.

"Sadie is a great dog because she is never far from me," Denise Romani wrote in an email. "Sadie loves to keep me warm by always laying down next to me on the couch. She loves going to Timber Creek dog park and walking in the woods. Sadie loves everyone she meets! She is more interested in meeting new people than playing with other dogs. What makes her even more great is the fact she has a way of making children who were once afraid of dogs and would run home when they saw us walking. Sadie seemed to sense their fear and would just keep walking until eventually she would stop and give the kids a chance to pet her. Over time, the kids that would once run away from her were now running up to her, waiting for us every night on our walk. She loves belly rubs and goes belly up everytime she meets someone hoping for that belly rub!!"
