An investigation later revealed that Roana attempted to burglarize five vehicles and successfully entered three of them. Roane was able to take loose change from the three entered vehicles, police said.
Roane was also found to be responsible for several vehicle burglaries in the Cobblestone area.
“The Gloucester Township Police Department would like to remind you that PREVENTION IS KEY,” police said. “There are many tips on how to prevent car burglaries. A vast majority of car burglaries happen to unlocked vehicles; therefore, GTPD would like to remind residents to lock your vehicle doors and close the windows.”
