Seven Glen Landing Middle Students in Camco Spelling Bee
The seven students will compete today for the right to represent Camden County in the Scripps National Spelling Bee.

Seven Glen Landing Middle School students will compete in today's Camden County Spelling Bee.
The competition will be held at H.B. Wilson Elementary School, in Camden, beginning at 10 a.m.
The seven Glen Landing students are seventh-graders Nicole Albertson and Nandi Cook-Creek and eighth-graders Pete Eckenroth, Anthony McDowell, Nusrat Nishu, Patrick O'Brien, and Bisma Nashir, according to Maura McGarvey, head of the school's Language Arts Department and its spelling bee organizer.

The winner of today's Camden County Spelling Bee will respresent the county in the 85th Scripps National Spelling Bee, in Washington DC, June 1-2.
Preet Raval, a former Glen Landing student, represented Camden County in the 2011 Scripps National Spelling Bee. Nashir was runner-up in the 2011 county bee as a seventh-grader.
