Sicklerville Teen Killed In 4-Car, Chain-Reaction Crash In South Jersey: Police
The teen's car hit 2 vehicles before it was hit by an oncoming car, authorities said.
MONROE TOWNSHIP, NJ — A Sicklerville teen was killed and two other drivers were injured in a four-car, chain-reaction crash on Thursday night in Gloucester County, authorities said.
A 19-year-old man from Sicklerville died in the crash after his car struck one vehicle, hit a second on the other side of the road and then got hit by an oncoming vehicle, police said.
Officials withheld his name.

The crash happened at 11:56 p.m. Thursday on Berlin Cross-Keys Road in Monroe Township.
The teen was driving west behind a 2018 Hyundai Elantra as the vehicles approached the Black Horse Pike. He tried to pass around the Hyundai's left side and crossed the double-yellow lines, police said.

As the teen tried to complete the passing maneuver, the passenger side of his 2007 Nissan Altima hit the driver side of the Hyundai, police said.
The teen's car traveled 72 feet into the eastbound lane, where it hit an oncoming 2018 Chevy Equinox, police said. The impact flung the teen's Nissan another 47 feet.
Then, a 2025 Mazda C30 hit the teen's car and sent it into the grass on the eastbound shoulder, police said.
The Mazda had been traveling behind the Chevy.
The Chevy driver sustained upper-body injuries, while the Mazda driver's lower body was hurt. Police did not mention the severity of their injuries.
It was the second time last week that a teenager died in a crash in Gloucester County. A few days earlier, a 17-year-old boy crashed his car on Route 55 in Deptford and sustained fatal injuries, officials said.
