Small Plane Crashes In NJ Field Friday, FAA Says
The single-engine plane flipped over after landing in a field Friday afternoon, FAA officials told Patch.
CUMBERLAND COUNTY - A single-engine plane crashed Friday afternoon in a South Jersey field, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) officials told Patch.
The Cessna 172P flipped over after landing in a field near Millville at around 2:15 p.m., the FAA said.
The only person on board at the time of the crash was the pilot, later identified by New Jersey State Police as John Saltzman. The pilot was uninjured, state police said.

The aircraft is registered to Cape May Aviation LLC, federal aviation records show. Saltzman, a Cape May-based pilot who flies for Cape May Aviation, is also the registered agent of the LLC.
An FAA investigation into the crash is ongoing.
