South Jersey Man Charged In Domestic Violence Killing: Prosecutor
A New Jersey man was charged Monday in connection with a fatal domestic violence incident in a Cumberland County home.

MILLVILLE, NJ - A New Jersey man was charged Monday in connection with a fatal domestic violence incident in a Cumberland County home.
Millville police responded to a report of a domestic violence incident at a residence on the 200 block of Riverside Drive on Monday, with arriving officers finding a 25-year-old female victim dead from apparent strangulation, Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae said in a statement. An autopsy is pending.
The victim’s name is not being released due to the nature of the incident, Webb-McRae said.

Steven Gonzalez, 24, who lived at the home, was taken into custody by members of the Vineland Police Department at a family member’s home, Webb-McRae said. It was not immediately clear if the victim lived at Gonzalez’s residence.
Gonzalez was charged with first degree murder and second degree aggravated assault. The investigation is ongoing.
