Speed Limit May Decrease On Old Black Horse Pike In Gloucester Twp.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Drivers may soon need to slow down a bit on the Old Black Horse Pike.

The Gloucester Township Council plans to vote on an ordinance that would reduce the roadway's speed limit from 40 to 35 mph.

A vote to introduce the ordinance is scheduled for Monday's council meeting. If successful, the council would vote on adopting the ordinance at a future meeting.

The Old Black Horse Pike runs between the Black Horse Pike and Chews Landing Road, where it becomes Somerdale Road.
