NJROPE is a research and resolutions team that has averaged 70 or more paranormal investigations a year since its inception in 2009, according to its website. It was formed after Director Frank Lazzaro’s own unexplained experiences.
“NJROPE is a group of researchers who each have a calling for learning more about this unseen world,” the group says on its website. “We take what we do very seriously, and will work with our clients to give them an understanding of what they are experiencing. Our objective is always for our client to feel comfortable with their surroundings. Because NJROPE looks for a natural explanation for different paranormal claims, it is not always necessary to find evidence of a haunt. Rather, it is just as satisfying to present this natural explanation if our objective is achieved.”

"The tavern has had many ghost sightings and stories over the years," according to Visit South Jersey. "The original furnishings are still in the house, and there are still bloodstains in the attic. On occasion, people have observed someone walking in the upstairs rooms, lights in the windows, and strange sounds of people suffering."
Among those said to haunt the tavern are William Schuck, the last owner of the property who died in 1976 and is buried on premises. Throughout the years, the tavern has passed through many owners, including the Warwick and Jaggard families. Joseph Jaggard, who was the last of the Jaggards, is still around the house.
