Still Time to Sign Up for 2012 Baseball, Softball Seasons

There are still plenty of opportunities to sign your kids up for the upcoming baseball and softball seasons.

No matter where you live in the township, there's a league for your child or children.

Blackwood Kiwanis Little League host registration sessions for baseball and softball at its complex at Marshall and West Railroad avenues the following dates: Saturday, Feb. 4, from 10 a.m. to noon; Tuesday, Feb. 7, from 6 to 8 p.m.; Saturday, Feb. 11, from 10 a.m. to noon; Tuesday, Feb. 21, from 6 to 8 p.m.; and Saturday, Feb. 25, from 10 a.m. to noon.

Erial Little League will hold registration sessions for baseball and softball at its complex at Fairmount and Essex streets the following dates: Thursday, Feb. 2, Saturday, Feb. 4, Tuesday, Feb. 7, Thursday, Feb. 9, Saturday, Feb. 11, Tuesday, Feb. 14, Thursday, Feb. 16, Saturday, Feb. 18, Tuesday, Feb. 21, Thursday, Feb. 23, Saturday, Feb. 25 and Tuesday, Feb. 28.

Erial Little League's Tuesday and Thursday registration sessions will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., and its Saturday sessions from 10 a.m. to noon.

Glendora Little League has five remaining registration sessions for its baseball program.

Four of the five will be held at Glendora VFW Post No. 8714's hall at 11th and Central avenues. Those sessions will be held the following dates: Saturday, Feb. 4, from 10 a.m. to noon; Saturday, Feb. 11, from 10 a.m. to noon; Wednesday, Feb. 15, from 7 to 9 p.m.; and Wednesday, Feb. 22, from 7 to 9 p.m.

Glendora Little League's final registration session will be Saturday, Feb. 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Sports Outlet.

Gloucester Township Baseball, an affiliate of Babe Ruth and Cal Ripken youth baseball leagues, will host sign-up sessions inside the municipal courtroom at the the Chews Landing Road municipal building on the following dates: Sunday, Feb. 5, Sunday, Feb. 19 and Sunday, March 4, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Gloucester Township Girls Athletic Association will host registration sessions at the municipal building on Friday, Feb. 3, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 18, from 1 to 3 p.m., and Monday, Feb. 27, from 6 to 7 p.m.
