Teachers Wish Good Luck to Glen Landing Student
Glen Landing eighth-grader Preet Raval begins competition in the Scripps National Spelling Bee today.
Preet Raval, 13, will become the first-ever Gloucester Township Public Schools (GTPS) student to compete in the Scripps National Spelling Bee at around 8 this morning, or about two hours after this video is first published on Gloucester Township Patch, when he and 274 other youngsters from around the globe sat down for the preliminary-round written test.
Here, Glen Landing Middle School Language Arts instructors Maura McGarvey, who organized the spelling bee for the school, and Danielle Clark, who is Raval's teacher, wish him well the rest of the way.
