Teen Shot In Chest; 2 Fellow Youths Charged In South Jersey
The victim was flown to the hospital and most recently listed in stable condition.
BRIDGETON, NJ — Two teens were charged for their roles in a shooting that hospitalized another teenage boy last week in Bridgeton, authorities said.
The victim, 17, was shot in the chest at a home around 10 p.m. Jan. 29 on the 100 block of Oxford Street, police said. He was brought to a city hospital before getting flown to Cooper University Hospital in Camden.
He remained hospitalized in stable condition as of Tuesday afternoon.

A 17-year-old boy was charged Friday with conspiracy to commit attempted murder in connection with the shooting. Two days later, a 16-year-old boy was charged with attempted murder, conspiracy and weapons offenses.
Both were incarcerated in juvenile detention centers as of Tuesday.
