This week in Gloucester Township, the Black Horse Pike Regional School District named its first-ever African-American board president, a committee was formed to explore the feasibility of televising Township Council meetings, local residents reacted to news of Navy SEALs killing Osama bin Laden, Timber Creek softball's bats were silenced by a white-hot pitcher, the township broke into a magazine's "best of" list, and mothers and fathers debated how to discuss bin Laden's death with their children—and more. 

Also, GT Patch today debuted its newest column—Practice Yoga. Don't Riot.—and featured a band of Timber Creek students looking to break out into the big time, and earlier in the week featured a popular Glendora bakery.
