These 5 Events Are Coming To Camden County This Weekend

CAMDEN COUNTY, NJ — Here's a list of upcoming events in Camden County, courtesy of our friends at Visit South Jersey, the official Destination Marketing Organization for Burlington, Camden, Gloucester and Salem counties, and the Outer Coast Plain Wine Region in South Jersey.

The Collingswood Crafts and Fine Art Festival and Market Night takes place this weekend in Downtown Collingswood. It runs 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. For the past 14 years, this summer festival has attracted fine craft and fine art aficionados from communities in Camden, Burlington and Gloucester counties, Center City Philadelphia and even the Jersey Shore. Highlighting the latest work of 130+ artists, selected by jury process, the festival adds to the ambience with live, gentle music, al fresco dining choices, family art activities, and a tent featuring festival artists’ donated works to be raffled to benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Southern New Jersey. Collingswood Borough offers a “Market Night” on Saturday until 9 p.m. The night features music, family activities, a movie - even a tight rope walker. Festival artists and downtown shops and restaurants are encouraged to remain open during the festivities. Downtown Collingswood bustles with artists and activities-and they could not be more delighted to welcome Perkins Center for the Arts as a wonderful addition to the excitement with a curated quilt show. It's Shark Summer at Adventure Aquarium in Camden now through Sept. 6. The aquarium is home to the largest collection of sharks in the Northeast and the longest Shark Bridge in the world. Visitors will be surrounded by sharks inside Shark Tunnel. Look out for new friends like Pacific blacktip reef sharks, and familiar favorites — their Shark & Ray Encounters and Live Dive Shows are coming back.
