Three Charged in Brazen Laurel Springs Daylight Burglary
A Blackwood man and two juveniles have been charged with breaking into a home in the township's Laurel Springs section.

A Blackwood man and two juveniles have been charged in connection with a home burglary in the township's Laurel Springs section.
Police were called to the home at about 8 p.m. Tuesday, and discovered someone entered the residence through a basement window. It is believed the burglary occurred five to six hours earlier.
Reported as stolen from the home were electronics, jewelry and coins, according to police.

Police developed suspects based on witness descriptions of individuals observed carrying booty from the victim's home to another nearby home on several occasions earlier in the day, according to Gloucester Township Police Lt. Mike Harkins.
The suspects were apprehended a short time later and charged in connection with the burglary.

Vincent Desant, 20, of Benson Way, Blackwood, was charged with burglary, theft and conspiracy to commit burglary. He was released on a summons.
Two juveniles, whom police are not identifying due to their ages, were charged with conspiracy to commit burglary. Both were released to guardians.
The stolen property was recovered subsequent to the suspects' arrests, Harkins said.
