Triton Musicians Win South Jersey Title
The school's percussion ensemble won its seventh straight South Jersey championship last weekend.
The Triton High School percussion ensemble won its seventh straight South Jersey championship on Sunday in a competition held at Deptford High School.
It was the percussion ensemble's 14th overall National Judges Association Chapter I (South Jersey) title, according to band director Bob Adams.
The percussion ensemble is under the direction of Gary Lowden, with assistance from Adams.

At the same competition last weekend, Triton's indoor color guard earned a bronze medal. The color guard is advised by Angelina Coppola, with assistance from William O'Brien.
Both groups head to Wildwood today to begin competition in the prestigious, five-state NJA Tournament Indoor Association Atlantic Coast Championship.
