UPDATE: Truck Thief Caught on Wawa Store Video Arrested

Police say the man stole a Ryder truck being used by the Courier-Post from the Wawa at 800 S. Black Horse Pike early Tuesday.

UPDATE, 4:30 p.m.: Police have announced the stolen truck, which was being used by the Courier-Post when it was stolen, has been recovered and an arrest has been made.

say a rental-truck thief was caught on camera at the new Wawa on the Black Horse Pike in the township's Blenheim section early Tuesday.

Surveillance video released by police this morning shows the suspect entering the store, purchasing a beverage and then stealing the Freightliner Sprinter truck, which is owned by rental company Ryder and marked with the company's logo.

The crime occurred Tuesday at around 5:17 a.m., according to police.

The suspect is described as a white male who is between 6 feet and 6 feet, 3 inches tall, approximately 200 pounds and has a tattoo on his left ankle.
