Nearly 6 inches of snow fell in parts of South Jersey on Monday, according to the National Weather Service. Check the totals near you.

Nearly 6 inches of snow had fallen in parts of South Jersey by 4 p.m. Monday as snow continued to blanket the state. While much of the snow uncharacteristically fell along the Jersey Shore, the inch total dropped the closer the storm got to the Philadelphia region.

Police had responded to 114 crashes on New Jersey roads as of early Monday afternoon, New Jersey State Police Superintendent Col. Patrick Callahan.

Atlantic City Electric had reported more than 2,000 power outages at one point, but that number had dropped by Monday afternoon, Callahan said.
