Drunk Driver Asleep In Car Wash: Hackettstown Police
Kevin Huff was found unconscious in his truck, authorities said.
HACKETTSTOWN, NJ - A 56-year-old Great Meadows man was charged with driving while intoxicated after officers found him passed out behind the wheel of his truck in a car wash, according to the Hackettstown Police Department.
Hackettstown Police responded to the Srub-A-Dub car wash at 20 Route 57 for a report of an unconscious man behind the wheel of a pickup truck parked in the self-car wash bay, police said.
When officers arrived, they found Kevin Huff unresponsive behind the wheel of the car, police said. After the officers made several attempts to wake Huff, he eventually woke up, according to authorities.

While the officer was talking to Huff, the officer detected the odor an alcoholic beverage, police said. Huff was charged with driving while intoxicated, and careless driving and was released pending a court appearance.
