Police Seek Driver Who Sideswiped North Jersey School Bus

Police told the suspected hit-and-run driver, "We need to have a conversation."

WARREN COUNTY, NJ — Police in Phillipsburg are looking for a driver who sideswiped a moving school bus this week, officials said.

On Wednesday, around 2:30 p.m., a car that looked to be a silver Dodge Grand Caravan brushed against a school bus, each driving in opposite directions near the 1000 Block of South Main Street.

Police say the Dodge had a New Jersey license plate and may have yellow paint marks or scuffs along the driver’s side.

Police ask witnesses or anyone with information on the hit-and-run to call 908-835-2002.

Authorities also ask the owner of the vehicle to contact them, saying, “We need to have a conversation.”
