Drunken NJ Driver Crashed Into Home, Killing Passenger, Injuring Residents, Jury Finds
The airborne car also killed a dog when it slammed into the second story of a residence.
WARREN COUNTY, NJ — A Warren County man has been found responsible for launching his car into a home, killing his passenger, injuring residents, and killing a dog, officials said.
John. C. Nunn, 31, of Washington, was found guilty on Friday of aggravated manslaughter, death by auto, aggravated assault, and two counts of assault by auto.
In the early morning of Feb. 6, 2022, Nunn’s Dodge Ram truck, going 100 mph, catapulted into the second story of a Washington home.

The truck passed two cars before hitting landscaping features that caused it to lose control, launching it airborne and slamming it into the second floor and master bedroom of the Terry family's house
The crash killed passenger Tyler Balog and seriously injured residents Kim, who was airlifted to a hospital, and Tim Terry. The crash also killed the Terry family dog, according to a Patch report.

Nunn was drunk behind the wheel at the time of the crash, officials said. He had a blood alcohol content of 0.118 percent at the time his blood was drawn that morning, more than four hours after the accident, according to the Warren County Prosecutor's Office.
Nunn faces a maximum of 60 years in prison following the guilty verdict.
NJ courts have not announced a sentencing date yet.
