The funding will bolster the Cyclone Kitchen pantry, launch a Cyclone Take Home program, add a resource coordinator, and keep a free bus running to Hackettstown SNAP-participating retailers like ShopRite, Weis, Walmart, and more. 
• Boys indoor track preview, 2025-26: Top jumpers & vaulters to watch (nj.com subscription) — Hackettstown senior pole vaulter Thomas Bengyak is spotlighted as one of New Jersey’s top boys indoor track jumpers to watch this winter, after a strong 2024–25 season that included a 13-0 clearance and multiple runner-up finishes. The statewide preview also profiles standout high jumpers, long jumpers, and triple jumpers from across New Jersey as the 2025–26 indoor season begins.
• Centenary Stage Company To Hold Equity Principal Auditions For DIAL M FOR MURDER (broadwayworld.com) — Equity actors in and around Hackettstown can audition this January for Centenary Stage Company’s production of Dial M for Murder at the Lackland Performing Arts Center on Grand Avenue. The professional company, based on Centenary University’s campus, is casting all principal roles, with rehearsals starting February 3 and performances running February 20 through March 8.
