Two men ended up in an argument after the accident in the ShopRite Wines and Spirits parking lot.
HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — A Hardwick man faces several charges including DWI after he rear ended another man’s car.
According to the police department, officers were called to the ShopRite Wines & Spirits of Hackettstown's parking lot on the night of Sept. 17, after receiving reports of a car accident, along with two men at the scene of the crash engaged in an unspecified dispute.
After responding officers arrived, Sgt. Darren Tynan, a spokesperson for the department, said officers ascertained that neither of the men were injured when Hans G. Wolf, 77 of Hardwick hit the back of an unidentified Hackettstown man’s car.

In turn, Tynan reported, Wolf - who is scheduled for a court date - was charged not only with refusing to take the test, but with DWI and disorderly conduct.
