July 4 is almost here, so it's time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you.

What: Fireworks
Where: North Warren Regional High School, 10 Noe Road, Blairstown
When: Saturday, July 3 at 9 p.m., with a rain date on Monday, July 5

This free community event, hosted by the Blairstown Rotary with the support of local sponsors, has returned after COVID-19.
Look out for parking at different points around the school, including the library, located on Lambert Road.
Spectators should stay tuned to the Rotary’s website for weather updates.


What: Blairstown Fourth
Where: Footbridge Park, Footbridge Lane in Blairstown
When: Sunday, July 4, with opening ceremonies at 11 a.m., until 4 p.m.

What: Duck Races
Where: Footbridge Park, Footbridge Lane in Blairstown
When: Sunday, July 4, 4 p.m.

Near the conclusion of Blairstown Fourth’s festivities, the Blairstown Rotary plans on its Duck Race event. Tickets are free to kids 18 and under. People who’d like to participate should pick up a ticket at the Rotary Club of Blairstown’s booth before 3 p.m. that day, with that the only time to pick up tickets. There’s a limit on tickets, with 1,000 and 1,000 ducks. A $2,000 donation will be given to the Blairstown Hose Company for their help with the event. There will be prize giveaways with the first a $100 Visa gift card. Follow the Rotary’s Facebook Page for updates.

What: Washington Celebrates America 2021, Washington Borough, Orange Crate Derby
Where: Broad Street and Borough Park entrance
When: Sunday, July 4, set up 7:30 a.m., start at 8:30 a.m., Saturday, July 10 rain date.

Come out to race in the orange crate derby or be a spectator. No qualification race, the fun begins bright and early at 8:30 a.m.

What: Washington Celebrates America 2021, Washington Borough, Parade
Where: Route 31, Broad St., Belvedere Ave., Carlton Ave., North Prospect St.
When: Sunday, July 4, lineup at 2 p.m., Parade at 3 p.m., no rain date

As part of Washington Borough’s July 4 celebration, there will be a parade that kicks off at 3 p.m., beginning on Route 31 and Broad Street, to Belvidere Avenue, making its way then to Carlton Avenue, before concluding on North Prospect Street.


What: Washington Celebrates America 2021, Washington Borough, Fireworks
Where: Warren Hills Middle School at 64-66 Carlton Avenue, on the field.
When: Sunday, July 4, festivities start at 6 p.m., no rain date

The Washington Celebrates America festivities wind down for the day’s three-part celebration, with a spectacular fireworks display at dark. The evening begins at 6 p.m., with Doc South and DJ Dave Rupell spinning tunes from 6 to 9:30 p.m.
