Hackettstown Not Ranked Among 'Top' High Schools
U.S. News and World Report releases annual list of top schools.

Hackettstown High School is not ranked among the top schools in New Jersey, according to U.S. News and World Report.
The school is not among the top 54 of 395 high schools in the magazine's annual rankings of high schools statewide and nationally. Three main factors are calculated for the rankings, including college readiness, math proficiency and language proficiency.
New Jersey's top high school is Biotechnology High School in Freehold, with High Technology High School in Lincroft and the Bergen County Academies in Hackensack rounding out the top three.

U.S. News & World Report ranked Hackettstown High School as indicated in the chart:
Student/Teacher ratio College readiness Math profiency Language proficiency 18:1 (NJ average, 14:1) 11.7 (10% pass AP exams, 16% tested) 3.1 (86% proficient) 3.2 (98% proficient)The school had a student/teacher ratio better than just 6 percent of New Jersey high schools, the report said, with 52 teachers to 928 students. Hackettstown was recorded "near" the New Jersey average in college readiness, math proficiency and language profiency.

No Warren County or Morris County schools made the top 10 in New Jersey. Chatham High School ranked number 13, dropping from number seven last year. Nearby Ridge High School was ranked number 14.
