'Night of Knights' to Aid Centenary's Equestrian Project
Fundraiser May 15 at Equestrian Center in Long Valley.

"A Night of Knights" fundraiser is planned to raise money for the Centenary College Equestrian Center Enhancement Project.
The event, which will include a cocktail reception, silent auction, dinner and performance by Medieval Times, will start at 6 p.m. May 15 at the Centenary College Equestrian Center in Long Valley.
Jim Salerno, former trustee of Centenary College, will serve as honorary chairman. The following people and organizations will be honored with the Diamond Award that evening for their continuous support of the equine program:

- Robert Beck — Owner and trainer at Hunter’s Crossing Farm in Long Valley. Beck has been instrumental in securing the donation of many horses for the college.
- Beval Saddlery — An employer of Centenary College graduates and has provided the College’s Equestrian Center with quality products and services. Beval Saddlery also partnered with Centenary to develop Beval’s College Night and has supported the Equestrian Center Enhancement Project.
- Shelli Breidenbach — Renowned equine photographer who has supported the college’s Equine Program with a horse donation.
- Cedar Lane Farm (Oldwick) and the Johnson Family — Contributors to the Equestrian Center Enhancement Project and horse donors to the College’s Equine Program.
- Donna Clancy — A friend of the College who has supported the College’s Equine Program with horse donations.
- Kathy Davidson — A friend of the College who has supported the College’s Equine Program with horse donations.
- WeatherBeeta, Inc. — An employer of Centenary College graduates which more recently partnered with Centenary’s Equine Program to test new equine products. The College’s horses have been featured in WeatherBeeta’s blanket photo shoots.
The Equestrian Center Enhancement Project will restore and expand facilities that house the College’s nationally recognized Equine Studies program, as well as its Therapeutic Riding, which serves children and adults with a variety of disabilities from the surrounding area.
The Equestrian Center Enhancement Project specifically raised funds for the Back Barn Project that was completed in fall 2011, the installation of dustless footing at the Center’s USET Arena three years ago and the replacement of fencing at the Equestrian Center.
