NJ Man Paid Teen For Nude Photos, Videos Over Snapchat: Prosecutor

The NJ man paid a 15-year-old for over 100 sexually explicit photos and videos on the social media app, police said.

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ - A Secaucus man was charged this week after authorities found he was paying a 15-year-old for explicit photos and videos via social media, the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office said.

Julian A. Suarez, 21, was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child as a result of an investigation led by the Washington Township Police Department in Warren County, police said.

The charges stem from a tip that a child was receiving payments in exchange for sending the explicit photos, police said.

An interview with the teen later found that she sent nearly 100 photos and videos to a man identifying himself as “Jay” on Snapchat. Though she told “Jay” she was 15 years old, she told police, the man still sent her a total $240 in payments.

If convicted, Suarez faces up to five years in state prison on each count.
