School Zone Speed Limits Up for Discussion at Council Meeting This Week

The Hackettstown Common Council will be discussing speed limits near local schools at this week's regular meeting.

The council will vote on introducing the ordinance, 2013-15, which would amend the existing local ordinance that sets the speed limits in Hackettstown school zones.

Hackettstown's Common Council will meet Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the municipal building on Stiger Street.

Also at Thursday's meeting, the council will be voting to introduce an ordinance to prohibit parking while there is snow on the roads and appoint a deputy animal control officer on a per call basis.
