Snow Emergency Lifted in Hackettstown

A snow emergency that banned parking in Hackettstown overnight was lifted Tuesday morning.

The parking ban was lifted at 8 a.m. The ban went into effect at 3 a.m. as a winter weather advisory was issued with 3 to 5 inches of snow possible.

Hackettstown Police announced on Monday that parking otherwise will be restricted to the even-numbered side of the streets due to the mounds of snow.
