Winning $40K Lotto Ticket Sold in Warren County

Bagel store and deli sells winning ticket.

A winning Powerball ticket was sold to one lucky patron of a Warren County deli, the New Jersey Lottery announced Thursday.

The third-prize ticket, worth $40,000, was sold at The Bagelsmith Food & Deli on Third Avenue in Alpha. The winner had purchased a ticket with the Power Play Option, the lottery announced, multiplying the $10,000 prize to $40,000.

“Congratulations to this fortunate lottery player,” said Lottery Executive Director Carole Hedinger. “The lucky player now joins the growing ranks of New Jersey Powerball winners.”

No winner has been named yet for the Powerball jackpot, the Lottery said, however, players took home about $126,162 in prizes during the July 10 drawing.
