HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – The Hackettstown woman accused of stealing thousands from actor Joe Piscopo pleaded guilty to theft Wednesday, Morris County Prosecutor Fredric Knapp announced.

As part of the plea, the defendant said her husband was hired to pay the victim’s bill that she unlawfully wrote checks for her own personal expenses using the victim’s funds knowing that she was not authorized to do so, Knapp said.
Under the terms of the plea, LaRocca agreed to sign a consent judgment and pay restitution in the amount of $170,805.61. The state dismissed the second count of second degree conspiracy.
