WWII Vet In Hackettstown Celebrates 93rd Birthday

Born in 1928, Fred Miller​ celebrated his milestone birthday with the Hackettstown Police Department and the Hackettstown Fire Department.

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — A Hackettstown resident and World War II vet celebrated a major milestone Friday.

Born in 1928, Fred Miller celebrated his 93rd birthday with a nice meal at his local Applebee's.

The military veteran did not celebrate his big day alone. The Hackettstown Police Department and the Hackettstown Fire Department also did a drive-by to wish him a happy birthday.

Following his meal at the restaurant, Miller posed for a photo with first responders while proudly wearing his red birthday hat and holding the American flag.
